  • The deep-rooted plants collected in this mixture should loosen not only the top layer of the soil, but also subsoil layer
  • Legumes (30 % in the mixture) will accumulate biological nitrogen, mustard will bio-fumigate the soil
  • The mixture will produce a considerable amount of green biomass and suppress weeds
  • Deep cavities in the place of decayed roots of tillage radish will increase soil aeration, activate the activity of microorganisms, and more moisture will enter deeper soil layers
  • Sunflower, linseed, narrow-leaved lupine will promote mycorrhiza
  • Phacelia not only promotes mycorrhiza but also dissolves phosphorus compounds that are difficult to absorb for other plants
