Forage rape germinates quickly and establishes quickly, so it is an excellent weed suppressor. ILVO forage rape varieties are bred and valued for their abundant, disease-free leaves. Forage rape is very winter-hardy, so it is suitable as a catch crop (sown from July to early September). These varieties can also become a source of fodder both in autumn and winter.
